About Citizens Advice Denbighshire
Citizens Advice Denbighshire an independent charity which was incorporated and registered as a charity in 2005 when two previous organisations - Denbighshire North and Denbighshire South - merged to become Denbighshire Citizens Advice Bureau. Following the national re-branding of Citizens Advice Bureau in 2015, we became known as Citizens Advice Denbighshire (CAD).
We can all face problems that seem complicated or intimidating. At Citizens Advice Denbighshire we believe no one should have to face these problems without good quality, independent advice.
We’re here to give people the knowledge and the confidence they need to find their way forward – whoever they are, and whatever their problem.
Our twin aims are:
to provide the advice people need for the problems they face and
to improve the policies and principles that affect people’s lives.
To achieve those aims, Citizens Advice Denbighshire works with partners (nationally and locally) to provide a fully accessible, comprehensive, and high quality service. Our mission is to reduce poverty, improve financial and personal resilience, and prevent homelessness, contributing to improved wellbeing within our community.
We believe everybody should be able to access advice and support regardless of their personal circumstances and characteristics and we have a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion in our projects and employment processes.
